This tour is guided on a maximum 1:16 ratio, meaning one guide per sixteen guests.

• ISK 14,900 for children 12-16 years old

• Free for children 5-11 years old

Description

An adventurous trip for kids of all ages, studying the small and the strange, sharing stories and doing all kinds of silly experiments.

On our downhill hike through the magical Neðri-Hveradalir we will scramble up all the rocks we find along the way, talk about the scary meaning of Kerling in the Kerlingarfjöll mountains, examine every spider web, seek every snowfield and view the mountain of Thor, the god of thunder, which rises above our destination from a safe distance.

Our mantra: If our clothes are still clean after the tour, we haven't mucked around enough!

What to bring

Warm clothes and socks, wind- and waterproof jacket, sturdy boots, gloves, buff, hat, and sunglasses. Water, snacks, and a light lunch.

Cancellation policy:

Cancellations for private activities must be made at least 10 days before arrival. After that, the activity is non-refundable.
