Family Fun

On July 6 and August 10, we're excited to offer special family-oriented programs in the majestic mountains. We'll go on a refreshing expedition through the natural gem of Kerlingarfjöll, hike ravines, and search for the perfect spots to slide in the snow. We‘ll also try our hand at cooking eggs and sausages in the geothermal area. Experienced guides from Outsiders will make sure we find our way and share enchanting stories of outlaws and folklore in this unique area. In the evening, we will join in on a lively gathering where we listen to stories about trolls and ghosts and enjoy quality time together in the hotel lounge.

This excursion is tailor-made for families, welcoming children aged 5 and above. Younger children can be carried in a front or back baby carrier by an adult.

We depart from the hotel at 11:00. We recommend that participants pack a substantial lunch, but it's also possible to order lunch boxes from our restaurant. The trip will be adjusted according to weather and conditions at the time.
