Kerlingarfjöll

Mountainbiking in the Highlands

A challenging and fun mountain biking weekend through the magnificent area around Kerlingarfjöll.

August 2-5

A highland biking adventure

Bring your mountain bike, gear up, and head up to the highlands to bike through thrilling landscapes, full of contrast and color.

We’ll meet up at Highland Base on Friday, August 2, and set out to circumnavigate Kerlingarfjöll on Saturday. At the day’s end, we’ll set up camp near Klakkur and enjoy a true highland campfire dinner. We’ll finish our tour on Sunday, biking through Leppistungur before heading back to base. The tour ends with a group dinner at the hotel, where you can recharge and relax in our Highland Baths. Come Monday morning, it’s time to leave Kerlingarfjöll behind and set out on the next adventure.
