This extraordinary trip takes us on an exciting and demanding hike across the sanctuary with the goal of conquering the area's tallest summits. Scheduled for the weekend of August 16-18, this adventure includes two meticulously planned days of hiking. On Saturday, we tackle the five highest peaks in Kerlingarfjöll, all listed among Iceland's top hundred highest mountains. These peaks include Loðmundur, Snót, Snækollur, Hverahnúkur, and Fannborg. Sunday's itinerary features a journey along the Mænishringur trail, potentially climbing Mænir/Ögmundur. We may even pay a visit to the iconic Kerling, the rock pillar that lends the mountains their name.
Participants can choose to join just the hikes or opt for a comprehensive package that includes accommodation, dining, and access to the Highland Baths, along with the hiking experience.

Participants are expected to come prepared with suitable hiking equipment, including poles, a lightweight backpack, and sturdy hiking shoes with ankle support. We also advise guests to dress according to the weather and conditions, bring a charged mobile phone, and carry water and light snacks.
The minimum participation for the trip is based on 10 booked participants. The trip is not confirmed unless this minimum participation is achieved.
